Steve McDougal co-founded 3Degrees in 2007 with a mission to make it possible for businesses and their customers to take urgent action on climate change. 3Degrees, a certified B Corp, provides renewable energy and emission reduction solutions to global Fortune 500 companies, utilities, and other organizations that want to join the fight against climate change. The company has been recognized for its leadership in environmental markets and awarded "Best for the World" by B Lab in recognition of the company's mission, ethics, accountability, and transparency. When taking a break from his CEO responsibilities, Steve enjoys skiing and learning to play piano. He also sits on the board of the McDougal Family Foundation, which is focused on improving student graduation rates from Chicago public schools and improving water quality in the Great Lakes. Steve holds a B.A. in political science and economics from Colorado College and MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
