Shannon is the Electric & Autonomous Vehicle Lead on the Seattle Department of Transportation’s (SDOT) Emerging Mobility Team. She shapes SDOT’s autonomous vehicle (AV) and electric vehicle (EV) policies, programs, and strategies to align with City goals and enhance the region’s transportation system. She manages the Electric Vehicle Charging the Public Right-of-Way (EVCROW) pilot which facilitates the installation of curb-side EV charging stations and is the Principle Investigator for a multi-regional project to electrify shared mobility services. She also manages Seattle’s participation Washington’s Autonomous Vehicle Work Group. Prior to SDOT, Shannon co-founded the company EVmatch, which provides a peer-to-peer network for EV charging. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
