Ryan Schuchard aims to create a zero-emission transportation system where people can move around safely, affordably, with smiles on their faces, and without wasting energy on empty seats and unnecessary vehicle mass. Ryan is Director of Innovative Mobility for CALSTART, a consortium of more than 210 organizations dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of clean transportation technologies. He currently oversees CALSTART’s activities administering the California Air Resources Board's "Clean Mobility Options for Disadvantaged Communities" program, which makes ~$15M/year in grants for clean mobility projects statewide. Ryan previously was CALSTART’s Policy Director, and before that worked at Business for Social Responsibility and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan. He has a B.S. in Finance from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
