Keith Kenny
Keith Kenny is Vice President - Sustainability for McDonald’s Corporation. In this role he leads McDonald’s efforts to drive positive societal change by aligning the corporate sustainability strategy with both the Brand purpose and the company’s business growth plan. As such he has direct responsibility for evolving corporate strategies for both sourcing sustainably and operating sustainable restaurants, as well as coordinating the broader company approach around brand trust.
The corporate strategy is intent on demonstrating responsible leadership by implementing initiatives that use the company’s scale and reach to make a positive impact on society.
Keith has held various positions since beginning his career at McDonald’s in 1989, including Head of Supply Chain and Food Strategy for the UK business, various commercial supply chain roles in Europe as well as establishing the company’s first sustainable sourcing team, in 2006.
During the course of his career he has participated in numerous industry and multi-stakeholder forums to help drive transformational change in areas such as protecting forests, animal welfare and beef sustainability.
Keith is based in London and married to Alison with two children- Lucinda 17 and Nicholas 15.
