Jason Aramburu is the founder and CEO of Climate Robotics, a developer of tractor-mounted implements to produce biochar from agricultural residues. He has been an established business leader and technology developer in the biochar industry for over 15 years. Jason previously founded re:char, a Gates-foundation funded nonprofit focused on training farmers in the developing world to produce and utilize biochar. He is an Ashoka Fellow, Echoing Green Fellow and was named a Forbes 30 under 30 social entrepreneur. He has also served as a Director at Baidu, the largest AI and robotics company in the world. He holds a degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from Princeton University and is an alum of the Y Combinator startup program in Silicon Valley.
