As the Vice President of Strategy and Sustainability for Edison Energy, Emily works with Edison’s clients focused on tackling the intersection of energy and sustainability issues in the US and internationally. She helps them design roadmaps and develop an understanding of sustainability and has supported the execution of over 3,000 MW of onsite and offsite renewable energy projects across North America and Europe. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and thought leader on effectively using renewable energy as part of a larger GHG reduction strategy.
Emily previously managed the Renewables Advisory Supply team, which matches renewable energy projects to available buyers based on strict criteria and Edison Energy’s proprietary database. She supported clients with market intelligence and analytical assessments of the renewable energy projects available. Emily also led state and federal policy initiatives, tracking the impact of policy changes on Edison’s customers. Emily has been awarded the WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy) Rising Star Award as well as Renewable Energy World’s Solar 40 Under 40 award.
Prior to this role, Emily was the Deputy Director, Industry Data and Analysis at the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). She holds a master’s degree in Science & Security from Kings College London, and degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Political Science from the University of Illinois.
