Christopher Ategeka is an award winning Uganda-born Engineer, Entrepreneur and Inventor. He is the Founder and Managing Partner at BraveX Ventures where he brings his experience, capital, and global relationships to support visionary entrepreneurs start and run companies. He partners with entrepreneurs who deeply care about people, planet, and sustainability. He is also the founder of Rides for Lives an on-demand rural healthcare delivery company with operations in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has won many awards for his work, most recently 2016 World Economic forum Young Global Leader. He is also a 2014 Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30, Ashoka fellow and Echoing Green fellow. Chris' work has been featured in many major media publications both local and International such as BBC, Forbes, FastCompany, CNN, NPR...and he is also a contributing editor for Forbes, Huffington post and Engineering for change. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science, and Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
