Independent Advisor, Circularity & Sustainability. Board Member, The Biomimicry Institute Angela Nahikian is an awarded business leader and innovator in circularity and sustainable development. In her 30 years of leadership she has championed the development and growth of material chemistry practices, pioneered the implementation of the Cradle-to-Cradle Design protocols and has served on the front lines of Circular Economy strategy and readiness. Nahikian has served on many educational curriculum boards and sector advisory councils including the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute Certification Standards Board, the Katerva Awards and others. She currently serves on The Biomimicry Institute Board of Directors. Angela studied Architecture and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Her career path has encompassed diverse roles in architectural systems design, product, business and strategy development, futures exploration, and technology licensing. Nahikian has been named one of the most powerful women in sustainability by Green Building and Design magazine and has received an Outstanding Alumni Award from Northwestern Michigan College.
