About

In 2015, Hawaii became the first U.S. state to mandate 100% renewable energy in the electricity sector by 2045. Fulfilling this bold mandate will require enacting high-impact solutions now with unprecedented collaboration among government at all levels, military, utilities, solution providers, energy producers and global leaders. To convene the diverse stakeholders required to meet this mandate, the VERGE Hawaii — Asia Pacific Clean Energy Summit will return to Honolulu, June 20-22, 2017.

Produced in partnership between the Hawaii State Energy Office and GreenBiz Group, VERGE Hawaii will explore innovative clean energy policies, models, technologies, infrastructure and identify immediate actions needed to deliver on Hawaii’s ambitious mandate. The conference and expo also serves as a platform for Hawaii’s energy leaders and stakeholders from around the world to engage, learn and contribute.

Who should attend:

  • Government and military officials

  • Utility executives

  • Corporate energy buyers and facility executives

  • Real estate portfolio managers

  • Transportation planners

  • Solution providers and technology innovators

  • Leaders from NGOs, Research and Academia

VERGE Hawaii welcomes those seeking to seize the renewable energy opportunity, whether in Hawaii or elsewhere, to learn from the more than 900 leaders and key stakeholders already working to build a sustainable energy future.
