Organization: Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA)
Meeting title: CEBA Connect at VERGE
Date: Monday, October 24 - Thursday, October 27
CEBA at VERGE is fully integrated into the VERGE 22 Energy Program. CEBA members have access to the cross-cutting VERGE content and CEBA member-only content —including a private reception Monday, October 24 at 5 PM PT, opportunities for conversations in smaller groups, and the invite-only energy customer afternoon.
CEBA members can also take advantage of the CEBA Station — a members-only lounge to connect, grab a coffee, or just sit down to relax — available Tuesday through Thursday.

Meeting title: 2022 Global CDP Supply Chain Summit
Date: Monday, October 24
With the majority of environmental impacts lying in a company’s supply chain, investors, consumers and policymakers want to see companies engaging their suppliers and taking responsibility for their Scope 3 emissions. The 2022 CDP Global Supply Chain Member Summit will convene leading companies to share insights on managing and reducing environmental risks within their supply chains – giving them a competitive edge with investors and brand reputation now, while helping them build resilience for the economic and policy shifts of tomorrow.
Sessions will cover Scope 3 emissions, supplier capacity building as well as supply chain approaches to biodiversity, deforestation and water security. Access to this event is on an invite only basis.

Meeting title: Global Forum 2022
Date: Tuesday, October 25 - Thursday, October 27
Established in 2005, Cleantech Open is the longest running and largest cleantech accelerator in the world, having trained 3,500+ entrepreneurs who have raised over $1.5 Billion in funding.
Cleantech Open’s annual flagship event, the Global Forum, is to be held in-person and in partnership with GreenBiz’s VERGE22. Our public program kicks off with an evening reception on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, our 2022 US National and Global Ideas Finalists pitch to judges to compete for the top prizes! In the Startup Pavilion, our 2022 Cohort and alumni showcase their innovations in our Demo Day. Finally, on Thursday, our Annual Awards ceremony takes place, with Keynote Speakers and a luncheon included.

Organization: ReFED
Meeting title: Pacific Coast Food Waste Commitment Retail Summit (Closed Door)
Date: 1 pm - 5 pm, Monday, October 24
Earlier this year, the Pacific Coast Food Waste Commitment released first-of-its kind data on unsold food rates and destinations from over 30% of retail market share on the West Coast.
Building on that data, as well as the modeled solutions in the ReFED Insights Engine, leading retailers will meet in this closed-door session to collaboratively identify and make plans to implement high-impact food waste reduction solutions across their operations.

Meeting title: How the First Mover Companies are Using Purchasing Commitments to Scale Carbon Removal
Date: Thursday, 26 October, afternoon
Carbon removal is a key focus for the First Movers Coalition, a global initiative harnessing the purchasing power of companies to decarbonize seven hard-to-abate industrial sectors. With global recognition that carbon removal is essential to meeting 1.5 degrees, it is imperative that companies set ambitious commitments to purchase durable and scalable carbon removal solutions. Join this session to hear how coalition partners are using these commitments to accelerate the development of carbon removal technologies to commercial scale by 2030 — and learn how your company can join them.

Meeting title: Ceres Corporate Electric Vehicle Alliance: Annual Meeting & Private Dinner
Date: Tuesday, October 25 - Wednesday, 26th
The Ceres Corporate Electric Vehicle (EV) Alliance will host its Annual Meeting and Private Dinner alongside the VERGE 22 Climate Tech Conference in San Jose, CA, on October 25 and 26, 2022. The evening prior to the Annual Meeting, we invite members join us for a private dinner to toast the successes of the Alliance since its founding in 2020.
The Annual Meeting will provide members with an in-person opportunity to meet their peers in the Alliance, discuss critical issues and brainstorm solutions, and support programmatic planning for the year ahead. It will feature Ceres and member presentations and industry stakeholder discussions highlighting prominent themes including (but not limited to) the following: EV transition planning, pilot program case studies, supply chain challenges and solutions, and critical policy levers. Alliance members and guests will receive an invitation from Ceres directly to participate in these events.

Regarding our Climate, Health and Equity Emergency, a life-saving outcome we commit to deliver by VERGE 23 is________.
Invited speakers representing major energy users, regulators, health care providers, utilities (water, energy and telecom) and solution providers will inspire the creation of a 12 month action plan with quarterly milestones that delivers a life-saving impact on the deadly intersection of climate, health and equity by VERGE 2023.
Participating leaders will:
1) discuss and prioritize critical obstacles that must be collaboratively overcome
2) work in roundtables to develop and pitch feasible action plans
3) have the opportunity to join this Task Force and hold themselves accountable as a team to deliver and present this result in 12 months.
Since its inception in 2016, the AEG Stakeholder Challenge format has inspired over 500 leaders to create over 40 volunteer Task Forces across Chicago, New York, DC Metro, Greater Boston, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to overcome critical obstacles within 12 months to a safer, healthier future for 50+ million people.
