The Sustainability Consortium: The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) is a global organization transforming the consumer goods industry to deliver more sustainable consumer products. TSC convenes diverse stakeholders to work collaboratively to build science-based decision tools and solutions that address sustainability issues that are materially important throughout a product’s supply chain and lifecycle. TSC also offers a portfolio of services to help drive effective implementation.
New Energy Nexus: New Energy Nexus works to accelerate the great energy transition by supporting entrepreneurs who are powering the thousands of businesses, technologies, and innovations needed to break open the economic and social opportunities of a clean energy future.
Nori: Founded in 2017, Nori is on a mission to enable global engagement for mitigating and reversing climate change via carbon removal. Nori's blockchain-backed marketplace provides transparency and protection against double-counting issues present in other carbon markets. By providing a marketplace where anyone in the world can pay for and get paid for removing and storing atmospheric carbon dioxide, Nori acts as a financial mechanism that will create new opportunities for climate innovation and carbon removal.
Science Based Targets initiative: The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science. It is focused on accelerating companies across the world to halve emissions before 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions before 2050. The initiative is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and one of the We Mean Business Coalition commitments. The SBTi defines and promotes best practice in science-based target setting, offers resources and guidance to reduce barriers to adoption, and independently assesses and approves companies’ targets.
Ecosystem Marketplace: Ecosystem Marketplace, a project of Forest Trends, is a leading source of news, data, and analytics on markets and payments for ecosystem services – water quality, carbon sequestration, and biodiversity. We believe that by making accessible information on policy, finance, regulation, science, and business, markets for ecosystem services will one day become a fundamental part of our economic system.
RMI: RMI decarbonizes energy systems through rapid, market-based change in the world’s most critical geographies to align with a 1.5°C future and address the climate crisis. RMI works with businesses, policymakers, communities and other organizations to identify and scale energy system interventions that will cut greenhouse gas emissions at least 50% by 2030.
For 40 years, RMI has utilized their unique techno-economic expertise and whole-systems thinking to publish groundbreaking research and analysis. They bring together collaborations of rare reach, range and expertise—creating unconventional partnerships and mobilizing action to drive change on the massive scale needed to combat the climate crisis.
Carbon180: Carbon180 is a new breed of climate-focused NGO on a mission to fundamentally rethink carbon. Carbon180 partners with policymakers, scientists and businesses around the globe to develop policy, promote research, and advance solutions that transform carbon from a liability to an asset. Their vision is to build a prosperous, carbon-conscious economy that removes more carbon from the atmosphere than we emit.
