Accelerate at VERGE 21 is a fast-pitch competition featuring entrepreneurs with innovative technologies, products and services in carbon, energy, food, mobility, and water infrastructure. Selected finalists will pitch from the virtual stage to an online audience of over 10,000 business, government and thought leaders.

FINALIST Epic Cleantec - Onsite water reuse systems convert wastewater into recycled water, soil amendments, and recovered heat energy.
Aquacycl - Wastewater treatment as a service creates direct electricity from previously untreatable streams.
FREDsense Technologies - Synthetic biology to design custom organisms that detect some of the hardest compounds in the water sector.

Expert feedback: Finalists will receive live feedback from industry experts, giving you exposure to investors, corporates and decision-makers with deep experience working with entrepreneurs.
Ongoing exposure: Beyond the live event, finalists will benefit from broad amplification via GreenBiz.com editorial coverage, the GreenBiz 350 podcast and published videos of the pitches.
Timeline
July 12 - August 13: Entrepreneurs submit application, including a 1-minute pitch video.
August 30 - September 20: Community voting on Greenbiz.com of the top semi-finalists in each category.
Mid October: Finalists announced!
October 25-28: The pitch sessions will take place online at VERGE 21.
