Clean Economy Week

Clean Economy Week in Oakland highlights the city's role in accelerating a resilient, prosperous and inclusive economy — locally and around the globe. On October 15-19, several leading organizations will co-locate events alongside VERGE 18 to convene a diverse array of leaders exploring the massive business opportunity at the intersection of technology and sustainability.

Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance Summit

Location: Oakland Convention Center, Oakland, CA

The Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance (REBA) Summit, organized by REBA and hosted by GreenBiz Group at VERGE 18, is a cornerstone of REBA’s goal to help energy buyers purchase 60 gigawatts of new renewable energy in the United States by 2025. The Summit provides the opportunity to accelerate the fast-growing market for renewable energy transactions, by bringing together more than 400 renewable energy buyers and solution providers to develop new partnerships and collaboratively tackle barriers and opportunities to continue growing the market. CE100 Fall Acceleration Workshop

The Circular Economy 100 (CE100) Program Acceleration Workshop, by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, brings together CE100 members, plus other organizations committed to transitioning to a circular economy. With an agenda designed to foster collaboration and best practice exchange, the immersive CE100 Acceleration Workshop will offer members the opportunity to hear fresh perspectives and global developments, access emerging insights and ultimately join forces with others to pitch and progress practical, collaborative projects. Cleantech Open Western Region Awards & Innovation Showcase

Every October, Cleantech Open’s annual accelerator program culminates with a capstone event, the Western Region Awards & Innovation Showcase. Watt it Takes -- Powerhouse

Watt it Takes is a monthly event and live podcast recording produced by Powerhouse & Greentech Media that features founders of the biggest companies in clean energy and the personal stories behind the businesses they've built.
