Join American Forests, the Arizona Sustainability Alliance and Microsoft in planting trees at a school that serves a marginalized community in Phoenix on February 4th. We'll mainly plant trees that are native to the area and can withstand the impacts of climate change. The trees also will produce food that the students and people in the community will be able to eat. The planting will help the school raise awareness about the value of trees in providing healthy food options, cooling cities, and more. The planting will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. You must have purchased an All-Access pass to participate.

Start the day bending your mind and body in yoga. Learn how to combine posture, breathing and meditation to improve strength, flexibility and stamina. Set your intentions for the second day of GreenBiz 20. All levels are welcome.

Join like-minded attendees for interactive moderated lunch discussions around a particular topic. Each discussion will be led by an expert with roundtables of up to 10 participants. These are free-form discussions, so bring your own challenges, questions and ideas.

We are teaming up with One Tree Planted by planting three trees for every conference attendee! These trees will be contributed to their reforestation project in Rwanda. This will help reduce the carbon footprint of Greenbiz and have many positive social and environmental impacts in the region. The primary objectives of this project are agroforestry and food security, but reforestation efforts will also reduce soil erosion, landslides and severe floods downstream, as well as sequestering carbon and improving biodiversity. Reforestation allows agricultural systems to increase productivity, provides jobs, increases forest cover and  reduces poverty among Rwandan citizens. This project is primarily organized by a women's-led cooperative, ensuring that women and local farmers have a say in the organization, distribution, impact, and equity of the overall project.
