Sustainability Solutions Celebration

Join us for an evening of entertainment and networking opportunities at the Sustainability Solutions Celebration. The event brings together the business and academic worlds to celebrate young innovators who have reimagined global challenges to make the world a better place. Please meet at the JW Marriott bus pullout at 5:15pm. Buses will leave at 5:30pm and circle back and forth between the Celebration and the JW Marriott.
Emerging Leaders Scholarship

To empower the next generation of sustainable business leaders and encourage the sustainability field to welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, we're thrilled to be able to offer the GreenBiz 19 Emerging Leaders Scholarship sponsored by Genentech. Recipients are hand-selected from a competitive applicant pool to attend GreenBiz 19 — all expenses paid. The application window is now closed.
Networking Reception

The unparalleled networking is just one of many reasons more than 1,000 sustainable business leaders will attend GreenBiz 19. End the first day of the event with the Collaboration Reception at the Desert Ridge’s beautiful Ballroom Lawn at sunset to connect with fellow attendees.
Guru Lunches

Join like-minded attendees for interactive moderated lunch discussions around a particular topic. Each discussion will be led by an expert with roundtables of up to 10 participants. These are free-form discussions, so bring your own challenges, questions and ideas.
Ride & Drive with GM

Take a test drive in the Chevy Bolt to experience the power, comfort and convenience of the next-generation of electric vehicles. Test drives will be offered from on Tuesday from 12:00 PM - 5:15 PM, Wednesday from 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
After Party

Join us on the evening of Tuesday, February 26, for the After Party. Enjoy a fun-filled evening with music, drinks and even more opportunities to connect with fellow attendees.
Coaching Corner

During a 15-minute personalized one on one coaching session with ICF-certified leadership coach and GreenBiz columnist, Shannon Houde, you will have time out to get perspective on what you personally want to be achieving in your work and life. Signups will be available on site at GreenBiz 19 during the following times: Tuesday, Feb. 26: 3:00 - 4:15pm; Wednesday, Feb. 27: 9:30 - 11:30 am; Thursday, Feb. 28: 9:30 - 11:00 am.

Sunrise Yoga

Start the day bending your mind and body in yoga. Learn how to combine posture, breathing and meditation to improve strength, flexibility and stamina. Set your intentions for the second day of GreenBiz 19. All levels are welcome.
Desert Landscape Biomimicry Hike

(All-Access pass-holders only)
Set the stage for inspiration by re-connecting with natural systems of the Sonoran Desert. Biomimicry Professionals Joe Zazzera and Michelle Fehler will discuss the design principles that have made life in the Sonoran prolific, and through the use of the tools of Biomimicry, will demonstrate how to integrate nature's strategies into our business lives.The hike is easy-moderate, 3-miles long with a 100 ft elevation gain. Please wear suitable clothing to hike in and remember to bring a water bottle. The hike is now full.
Native Desert Plant Restoration

(All-Access pass-holders only)
Join the oldest conservation organization in the United States, American Forests, for a hands-on experience planting trees, cacti and other native desert vegetation. In addition to lots of fresh air (thanks to the trees!), you will get a chance to learn about the fragile ecosystem of the Phoenix area, the tree and plant species that can thrive there, some of the challenges the environment faces and what you can do to help.
