Carbon Disclosure Project

Meeting Title: CDP Global Supply Chain Report Launch and Science-Based Target Workshop

Location: JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Phoenix, AZ

Date & Time: Monday, February 25, 2019, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Managing climate risk and mitigating the impacts of climate change requires companies to reduce emissions in their own operations and their global supply chains. Recognizing this, companies have transformed their approach to environmental management by moving from a low-level of visibility and short-term internal goals to setting forward-looking public targets and collaborating on ambitious climate action with their suppliers. Join CDP as we discuss 10 years of emissions management in supply chains and hold an in-depth workshop on science-based targets where we will share the latest updates to SBTi criteria and resources. We will also explore how ambitious climate commitments like RE100, EP10 and EV100 are essential in achieving these ambitious climate goals and in driving the economy wide low-carbon transition.

BSR

Meeting Title: BSR’s CoLab: Designing Effective Approaches for Corporate Advocacy on Carbon Pricing

Location: JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Phoenix, AZ

Date & Time: Monday, February 25, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

BSR's CoLab will convene private-sector sustainability leaders and select NGOs in an interactive, engaging workshop designed to scale collective advocacy for an economy-wide carbon price.

Using CoLab's "Ideate, Design, Explore, Accelerate, Scale" (IDEAS) process, participants will share the opportunities and challenges of creating a viable carbon pricing scheme at the regional, national, and global levels—including internal company efforts which empower them to be effective advocates. At this invite-only event, participants will start to build a business case for action and share stories of their aspirations, concerns, and experiences as corporate advocates in a time of both uncertainty and renewed hope. Join Eric Olson, Senior Vice President of BSR, and Anne Kelly, Senior Director, Policy and BICEP Network at Ceres, to collaborate, co-create, and network.
