What We Value
Proof points: Bring your data, metrics and case studies to help us ground an aspirational circular economy in reality. We aim to uplift actionable insights, replicable models and success stories (or failures we can learn from) that show us what’s actually happening.
Fresh and timely content: What are the latest trends, innovations and breakthroughs in this emerging industry? We avoid topics, sessions and speakers that have appeared at other conferences.
Diversity: We’re specifically looking to prioritize BIPOC speakers in the program, and appreciate your partnership in ensuring that Circularity 21 — and the industry — reflects the world that we live in. All male or all white panels will not be considered.
Content Formats
Breakout Panel — Moderated discussion with two to four speakers (including the moderator). We prioritize engaging conversations among industry experts with opportunities for audience engagement, and discourage formal slide-based presentations.
Breakout Lightning Talks — High-energy series of 3 to 5 brief presentations on a single topic. We prioritize dynamic speakers, visually compelling slides and actionable insights.
Keynote Talk — Short-form, stand-and-deliver presentation on the main stage designed to inspire, inform and entertain (à la TED Talks). We prioritize speakers proven to be dynamic and engaging presenters, and that offer a breakthrough idea or novel perspective. We look for both industry leaders and new voices not already well known on the conference circuit. There are very few Keynote Talk opportunities at Circularity 21.
Keynote Conversation — Lively, mainstage conversation, 15- to 25-minutes in length, among experts around a particular topic, or a one-on-one interview with a high-profile industry leader. A “talk show” format, Keynote Conversations are moderated by a seasoned journalist with no slides or presentations. There are very few Keynote Conversation opportunities at Circularity 21.
