Velislava Ivanova
Veli Ivanova has 25 years of experience in ESG and sustainability consulting. She is an accomplished sustainability practitioner with broad international experience. In her role as the EY Americas Chief Sustainability Officer, Veli drives the advancement of EY’s sustainability objectives and initiatives in a way that increases the long-term value of the firm and our clients.
Veli leads the EY Americas Climate Change and Sustainability Services Practice supporting clients to achieve their sustainability goals, manage ESG risks and drive innovation. She leads a team of more than 400 professionals and is responsible for the practice growth in the Americas.
She has assisted numerous Fortune 500 clients from a variety of sectors including oil and gas, chemical, mining, utilities, consumer, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage with the development and implementation of their sustainability strategies and programs. Veli has supported a wide range of client organizations with embedding sustainability across their value chains and products. She earned a MSc in Pollution and Environmental Control and a PhD in Environmental Biology both form the University of Manchester, UK.
