Angela Amos is the Head of Commercial Innovation & Strategy at AES Clean Energy. In this role, Angela leads all core commercial innovation, developing and advancing new customer and market solutions. In addition, Angela has extensive background and experience in regulatory policy, wholesale markets and innovation development. In Angela’s previous role, she led Market Development and Regulatory Innovation. In that function, she developed the regulatory and commercial strategy for Uplight’s cutting edge, consumer-focused technology. Prior to Uplight, Angela served at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as policy advisor to the late Chairman Kevin J. McIntyre, and as senior policy advisor, West Division, in the Office of Energy Market Regulation. Angela’s previous responsibilities also include commodities trading, portfolio management, and generation portfolio optimization at GenOn and Lehman Brothers. Angela holds a B.A. from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
