David Bennell is a leading ESG and Sustainability management professional with 30 years of experience with corporations and investors, as well as many of the world’s top NGOs and philanthropic foundations. He is an investor and limited partner in a digital assets fund for FinTech companies working on climate change and biodiversity loss. He worked directly in the corporate sector as an employee at Microsoft, REI and LL Bean managing R&D, leadership development and sustainability programs and held a 5-year appointment at MIT as adjunct faculty in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. David wrote and presents one of the world’s most watched corporate sustainability courses viewable on Linked In Learning (titled: Sustainability Strategies), named the #1 global course for impact investors, David has worked on deforestation-related issues in South America, Central America, Indonesia and Africa. He has an undergraduate degree in environmental studies, a graduate degree in health and human performance, is a delegate of the Prince of Wales Business and Environment Programme at Cambridge University and was selected as a Fellow for Yale University’s Environmental Leadership Program.
