Miguel Cunha is a Senior Director at Fitch Ratings in New York, where he is responsible for spearheading the ESG & Sustainable Finance business development efforts for the Americas. Prior to joining Fitch, Miguel spent close to two years at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), leading their ESG ratings and Second Party Opinion (SPO) sales for sustainable finance transactions in the Americas, and also spent seven years at S&P Global Ratings in New York on commercial/product strategy functions. Miguel started his career at Dealogic, a data analytics provider, covering the fixed income market out of London, U.K.Miguel earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Minho University, Portugal and a Masters in Finance from Porto University, Portugal.
