Robert Kastler is the Packaging Engineering Manager of Sustainability and Innovation at Clif Bar & Company and has been with the company since 2020. Robert works to fulfill the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s "New Plastics Economy" pledge: that all Clif Bar packaging will be reusable, recyclable, or compostable by 2025. In this pursuit he manages the identification, development & implementation of sustainable packaging. Robert has worked on packaging development in the food and beverage industry for 9 years, with a focus on packaging sustainability for the past 3 years. Robert earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in Packaging Science from Clemson University and lives in Los Angeles.
