Marene Jennings linkedinMarene is a managing director in the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she is a member of the Strategic Partnerships and Client Portfolio Solutions team. She serves as an AIMS diversity champion, with both an internal focus partnering with the Professional Development Committee and AIMS leadership, as well as a commercial focus to enhance the manager selection process across a number of dimensions, including client acquisition, diverse manager sourcing, and diversity and inclusion training. She serves on the Goldman Sachs Black Network Executive Committee and the One Million Black Women Steering Committee. Marene joined Goldman Sachs in 2004 as an associate within the Investment Management Division and was named managing director in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Marene held management consulting and strategy roles. Previously, she was on the Fidelity Investments corporate strategy and new business development team. Prior to that, Marene was an associate at the Boston Consulting Group. Marene is a member of the Board of Directors of BronxWorks, a nonprofit focused on serving the Bronx's most in-need residents across a range of services and programs. Marene earned an AB in Economics and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Dartmouth College in 1998 and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2004.
