Tadeu is the Chairman and CEO at Boston Metal. He brings 40 years of metal industry leadership and technology experience to Boston Metal. As CEO of CBMM (80% global market share for niobium) he grew revenue from $100M to over $2B. In his 30 years with CBMM, Tadeu led a global strategy that grew the niobium market by over 8x through a rigorous program of customer-focused application and technology development. Tadeu is the lead independent director at Ivanhoe Mines (copper, zinc, nickel and platinum group metals). He is an invited lecturer at the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the MIT. Tadeu recently joined the advisory board of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Heart and Vascular Center in Boston, MA.
