Eric Larson is a senior research faculty member with Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, and is also affiliated with Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs and High Meadows Environmental Institute. His research interests intersect engineering, environmental science, economics, and public policy related to energy systems. He co-leads Princeton’s Net-Zero America study, which has described with unprecedented sectoral, spatial, and temporal detail different technological pathways for the United States to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Larson has a BSE in mechanical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a PhD from The University of Minnesota.
