
Richard Aslin
Richard Aslin is a Principal Strategic Analyst in the Integrated Grid Planning Department at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Over the past 25 years he has accumulated a wide range of experience including energy economics, forecasting and load research, energy procurement and risk management and demand side strategy and policy. He currently is heading up Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s targeted demand side programs initiative. Richard holds an MS in finance and an MA in economics, has acted as an expert witness on behalf of Pacific Gas and Electric Company in numerous regulatory proceedings at the CPUC and FERC and has participated in several conferences and panel discussions focused on how demand side resources can be more fully integrated into transmission and distribution planning and operations.
