Sarah Booth linkedinSarah Booth (née Busche) is the founder and principal at Booth Clean Energy where she focuses on clean energy policy analysis and making policy and energy data more accessible. Ms. Booth has supported both national governments and subnational governments in their efforts to increase renewable energy generation and efficient use of energy, including the states of Hawaii and Minnesota, as well as Indonesia, Mexico, India, and Albania. For the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar in Your Community Challenge, Ms. Booth is coaching 10 communities around the country that are implementing innovative projects to increase access to solar for low- and moderate-income communities. In the support of the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative (HCEI), she has worked with stakeholders across the state to help Hawaii meet its clean energy goals by analyzing policy options, tracking state policy evolution, and supporting the development of the Renewable Energy Permitting Wizard. She has led the development of multiple online tools and resources designed to increase access to energy and policy data, improving stakeholders’ ability to incorporate this data into their decision-making processes. Ms. Booth holds an M.A. in International Relations and Environmental Policy from Boston University.
