Christina Becker-Birck
Christina Becker-Birck is a Vice President at Meister Consultants Group where she leads the firm’s international energy and climate practice. She has worked in numerous jurisdictions around the world and has deep expertise supporting island economies with diversifying their renewable energy portfolios. Mrs. Becker-Birck works closely with national governments, utilities, lenders and companies on program design, implementation and strategies to reduce barriers to investment. She is currently supporting the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism review ownership and regulatory models for Hawaii’s utilities. Prior to joining MCG, Mrs. Becker-Birck worked for Deutsche Bank where she conducted investor research on how policy design affects investor risk. She holds a Master in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and the Hertie School of Governance and is an Advisory Board member of the Clean Energy Solutions Center.
