
Jack Beutell
Jack Beuttell is CEO and Co-founder of Kunoa, a vertically integrated, regenerative meat company that operates ranching assets on Kauai and Hawaii’s largest meat processing facility on Oahu. Jack was raised in Indian River County Florida, where his family began farming citrus and sod in the 1950s. He spent seven years with Hines, the $43 billion (assets under management) real estate investment firm, in marketing, finance, and sustainability. During this time, Jack was chosen as the first candidate in the company’s associates training program, working on a $2.3 billion commercial real estate sub-portfolio. He later took a position as Global Sustainability Manager, helping the firm achieve a reputation as one of the leading sustainable investors, developers, and property managers around the world. Jack earned his Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management from Duke University in 2014 where he won the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship Seed Prize, was sponsored by Burt’s Bees as a Bull City Forward Fellow for social entrepreneurship, and competed twice as a finalist in the Morgan Stanley International Sustainable Investing Challenge. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in 2003.
