Joe Boivin linkedinJoseph Boivin, Jr. has been Senior Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Affairs since 2013, after serving as Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Vice President of Operations since 2009. Mr. Boivin is responsible for developing renewable energy resources including renewable natural gas, deploying new gas technologies and legislative and corporate affairs. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Boivin was a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where he built and managed a 40-person team focused on Economic and Business Analysis in the Pacific Region. Earlier in his career, Mr. Boivin served as the Managing Director of investment firm Washington Capital Partners, LLC, in Washington, DC; as a Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses in Alexandria, VA; and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman’s Dallas, TX. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force from 1988 to 1992, and was a member of the Air Force Honor Guard. Mr. Boivin is on the Board of the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii where he is serves as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Boivin is a graduate of the University of Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®), a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA®) and a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
