Dave Bartlett is the Chief Technology Officer for GE Current, located in San Ramon, California. Current, a digital power service, brings innovation in one place by combining GE’s capabilities in LED, Solar, Energy Storage, Onsite generation, and Electric Vehicle infrastructure into a sustainable energy ecosystem that benefits customers and partners. Bartlett was the Chief Technology Officer for GE Aviation, a world-leading provider of jet engines, components and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft. Prior to joining GE, he was IBM’s Vice President of Smarter Physical Infrastructure, and a spokesperson for IBM’s “Smarter Planet.” Bartlett earned his MBA at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, in addition to completing graduate programs in Computer Science and Project Management. He is also a Biologist with a degree in Biology from the State University of New York.
